Ashleigh Horvat

Naturopath and Registered Nurse

Ashleigh Horvat is a degree-qualified (BHSc) and Registered Nurse with almost a decade of experience in the healthcare system, predominantly within General Practice. With a unique blend of biomedical knowledge and training, Ashleigh brings an integrative, evidence-based approach to her clinical practice.

Ashleigh is passionate about identifying the root cause of chronic health concerns and supporting clients with personalised, results-driven treatment plans. Her dual background in nursing and naturopathy gives her a strong ability to bridge conventional and natural medicine, ensuring clients receive comprehensive, safe, and collaborative care. She regularly works alongside GPs and other healthcare professionals, utilising both standard pathology and functional testing where clinically appropriate.

With special interests in gut health, skin health, hormonal imbalances, and mental wellbeing, Ashleigh also enjoys working as a generalist, recognising that every system in the body is interconnected. Her treatment approach combines clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, targeted supplementation, lifestyle therapy, and ongoing education to support long-term wellbeing.

Ashleigh commonly supports clients with:

  • Gut & digestive disorders (IBS, dysbiosis, SIBO, Coeliac disease, bloating, reflux, constipation/diarrhoea, food intolerances)
  • Hormonal imbalances (PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, cycle irregularities, thyroid health)
  • Skin conditions and concerns (acne, eczema, dermatitis, improving skin health, anti-ageing)
  • Mood, stress, anxiety, burnout, and sleep disturbances
  • Immune health and recurrent infections
  • Metabolic and blood sugar imbalances
  • Fatigue and low energy
  • Women’s health across all life stages
  • Longevity and preventative health
