Make your own Muesli
Serves 2-4
Ingredients
Choose a mixture of:
- ½ cup amaranth
- ½ cup millet
- ½ cup brown rice puffs
- ½ cup buckwheat puffs
- ¼ cup nuts (almonds, brazil nuts, macadamia, hazelnuts)
- 1 tablespoon seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseed, sesame)
- ¼ cup shredded coconut
- ¼ cup dried fruits (sultanas, apricot apple, dates)
- 1 teaspoon psyllium husks
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
To serve
- 1 large dollop of Natural Greek or coconut yogurt
- 1 cup milk (cow’s, soy, rice, almond, coconut)
- 1 tablespoon LSA
- Drizzle of Honey (optional)
- Seasonal fruit – stewed apples or pears, fresh berries, banana, stone fruit
Method
Ideally make a larger batch of the dry ingredients and keep in an airtight container. Simply serve one portion in a bowl with yogurt, milk, honey and fruit.
