What Is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that most often affects the face—causing redness, visible blood vessels, flushing, bumps or acne-like breakouts. Triggers vary from person to person but may include heat, stress, spicy food, alcohol, hormonal changes or even certain skincare products. While rosacea is often treated topically, the drivers behind it are usually internal, involving inflammation, immune dysregulation, gut imbalance or circulatory issues.

At MNMC, we look beyond your skin to understand what’s contributing to your flare-ups, working to calm the system from the inside out so your skin can finally settle.
